Parking Enforcement is seeking to recruit a full-time Adjudication Officer to work within the Adjudication Section of the Parking Enforcement Team. The primary purpose of this post is to provide administrative and clerical support for the decriminalised Enforcement Process of Penalty Charge Notices issued to both stationary and moving vehicles. Responsibilities include handling correspondence related to Penalty Charge Notices, Appeals to London Tribunal Environment and Traffic Adjudicators, processing applications to the County Court, and dealing with bailiff enquiries.
The ideal candidate will have proven word processing and keyboard skills, along with experience in administrative or clerical work, preferably dealing with enquiries and complaints from the public. The ability to work in a busy environment, meet deadlines, and work flexibly is essential, as is the ability to work as part of a team. Experience of legal procedures and knowledge of the Traffic Management Act and related legislation is desirable.
