Wull Technologies is developing new products from British sheep wool. We are looking for a Junior Production Operator to support primarily the manufacturing, and also with business administration as we go to market.
The position is based in the Graphene Engineering Innovation Centre, in Central Manchester. This can be a full-time role, requiring 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday paid at £25,000 p.a. There is also a possibility for a part-time position (exclusively on manufacturing), please specify your preference on application.
Responsibilities
This role will primarily focus on the manufacturing of rigid wool panels on an industrial pilot-line. This is a wet chemical process involving material handling, process chemistry, and operating industrial machinery.
A secondary function involves business administration. Including coordinating with clients and supporting the wider team with operational and sales tasks.
Comprehensive training and ongoing support will be provided.
Requirements
We are looking for technically minded and enthusiastic candidates. We request you have formal STEM qualifications to Level-3 standard (eg T-level, A-level, IB) and right to work in the UK.
* Previous experience working in an industrial or applied technical environment preferred.
* Good numeracy, written, and IT skills.
* Level-3 qualifications in STEM subjects
