Maintenance Engineer – Join OCS

About The Role
Monday to Friday. Overtime is occasionally available at weekends.
As a multi‑skilled Maintenance Engineer you will deliver quality engineering and manage the planned and reactive maintenance of electrical and mechanical equipment across client office spaces. You will apply electrical/mechanical diagnostic skills, demonstrate strong team ethic, proactive self‑motivation, effective communication and excellent customer service. Strong IT skills are required.
Responsibilities
* Implementation and maintenance of scope of works, PPM schedules and relevant data collection from contractors.
* Manage the business using MI reports, assess individual results, and develop specific actions to improve building and client management.
* Customer engagement to achieve quality, innovation, acknowledgment and inspiration, creating an emotional and loyal brand.
* Set high expectations for results and hold colleagues accountable against measurable KPI scores.
* Ensure operations meet company accreditation requirements (ISO:9001, 14001, OHSAS:18001).
* Maintain full compliance with company operational platforms (OCS Operations Processes).
* Comply with HSE and statutory requirements related to client service provision.
* Ensure the overall people plan reflects high standards, succession planning, mentoring and development.
* Direct staffing approach that meets client requirements.
* Understand and administer HR policies and procedures and ensure their compliance.
* Communicate company objectives to all site teams consistently and effectively.
* Ensure all work is carried out safely, following legislation, OCS policies, risk assessments and method statements.
* Be contactable outside working hours via the security control room for FM emergencies and coordinate responses for business continuity.
* Maintain confidentiality of client and staff information.
Skills and Experience
* Ability to articulate thoughts into clear, concise written and verbal communication.
* Strong leadership skills; inspiring interpersonal effectiveness to motivate team, train talent and effect change.
* Excellent time‑management and organisational ability to prioritise and multitask, with attention to detail.
* Experience at supervisor level.
* Relevant H&S qualification (desired, not essential).
* IT literacy in MS Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
* HVAC qualification (17th/18th edition or equivalent).
