This vacancy is for a candidate who want to be part of a new indipendent business where is possible to play a real role outside the mainstream job Description packages.
Sunday is always a day off, plus different shift patterns available, not all the week ends are required.
We are seeking a level, professional and skilled Line chef de partie to join team.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a strong understanding of kitchen operations. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in preparing high-quality meals and ensuring that our kitchen runs smoothly. Your expertise in food preparation and safety will contribute to creating an exceptional dining experience for our guests.
Responsibilities
* Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
* Assist in the preparation of ingredients, ensuring freshness and quality.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment.
* Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the highest standards of hygiene are met.
* Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
* Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
* Participate in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.
* Help create daily specials or menu items that reflect seasonal ingredients or trends.
Skills
* Proficient in food preparation techniques, with a solid understanding of culinary practices.
* Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices within a restaurant environment.
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting while maintaining attention to detail.
* Strong teamwork skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
* Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and menus as needed.
* Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential; a willingness to learn is key.
