About the role
We are seeking a proactive, confident and student centred Site Engagement Lead to join our campus team. This is a key role focused on promoting a positive culture, ensuring high standards of behaviour, and supporting students to thrive in a safe and respectful environment.
The successful candidate will work closely with curriculum teams, pastoral staff, and senior leaders to maintain consistent behaviour expectations and provide effective interventions when issues arise.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead on behaviour management across the site, ensuring a calm, supportive and purposeful learning environment.
* Provide immediate response to behaviour incidents, logging actions and coordinating follow-up support.
* Build positive relationships with students, supporting them to meet expectations and develop positive conduct.
* Work collaboratively with teaching and support colleagues to implement behaviour strategies and uphold policies.
* Lead restorative conversations and mediation where appropriate.
* Monitor behaviour data and contribute to improvement plans.
* Support safeguarding processes and liaise with relevant staff when concerns arise.
* Communicate effectively with parents/carers regarding behaviour matters.
* Contribute to campus culture by modelling professionalism, respect and high expectations.
About the person
The successful candidate will have experience working with young people in an educational or pastoral environment. You will need to demonstrate resilience, calmness under pressure, and excellent judgement. Have strong communication skills and the ability to build trust quickly. Can apply policy consistently, while being empathetic and solution focused. You will need to be confident in leading difficult conversations and supporting positive change. Work well as part of a wider safeguarding team.
