Level 2 Teaching Assistant (Year 1 Support)

We are currently seeking a caring and enthusiastic Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Blackpool. This role involves supporting teaching and learning in a Year 1 classroom, starting after the October half term.
Role Overview
* Work closely with the class teacher to support pupils’ learning and development.
* Provide small group and 1:1 support tailored to individual needs.
* Encourage children’s academic progress and social confidence.
* Help create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment.
The Ideal Candidate Will
* Hold a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
* Have experience working with young children, ideally within Key Stage 1.
* Be patient, dependable, and responsive to the needs of the class.
* Be confident supporting pupils with a range of abilities and backgrounds.
* Understand and follow safeguarding procedures effectively.
