Warehouse Supervisor
Working with a busy and rapidly expanding manufacturer of non-ferrous metals, my client is looking to recruit a Warehouse Supervisor on a full-time permanent basis. The role is Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week, from 2pm to 11pm.
This is a fast-paced Warehouse position where you will be responsible for organising deliveries, receiving goods in/out of the warehouse, loading and unloading vehicles, as well as managing a small team.
This is a hands-on Warehouse Supervisor role where previous experience in a fast-paced environment is essential.
The company is based on the outskirts of Reading, so own transport is essential.
Salary & Benefits:
* Up to £35,000 per annum
* Monday-Friday, 2pm-11pm
* 20 days holiday + Bank holidays
* Free parking
Duties:
* Organising deliveries, storage, and despatches of goods in the warehouse
* Scheduling and overseeing the warehouse team and managing workflow to maximise efficiencies
* Assisting with loading and unloading deliveries daily, including quality assurance, inventory control, space management, and logistics
* Liaising with Sales and Office departments to ensure targets are achieved daily
Ideal Candidate:
* Experience managing/supervising teams in a logistics or manufacturing environment
* Experience in stock movement, goods in/out, and warehouse operations
* General office and administrative skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to multitask and liaise with different departments
