Main duties of the job
Weare seeking a 6-session salaried GPto work on Tuesday AM, Wednesday, Thursday andFriday AM. The role includes a balanced mix of clinical sessions, triageand admin time and opportunities to contribute to practice development.
* We havea dynamic way of working where all clinical staff help out with on-callduties not overburdening one member of staff. On-call duties and home visits are generally not busy.
* Youwill work closely with our experienced GPs, nurses, and administrativeteam in a supportive environment.
* Thereis excellent potential to developspecial interests and contributeto teaching and training, particularly if you are interested inbecoming a GP trainer orsupporting GP registrars.

Job responsibilities
Diagnose and treat a wide range of physical and mental health conditions
Carry out patient consultations in person or telephone
Prescribe medications and treatments
Manage Chronic illnesses
Referrals to hospitals/ Specialists
Keep accurate and confidential medical records
Provide Health Education and Lifestyle advice to patients
Home Visits
Strong communication and listening skills, empathy, patience and professionalism. Ability to work under pressure. Teamwork and leadership skills
Person Specification
Qualifications
* Fully qualified GP with GMC registration and license to practise.
* Inclusion on the NHS Medical Performers List.
* Excellent clinical and communication skills along with interpersonal skills.
* Commitment to patient-centred care and clinical excellence.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
* Understanding of current NHS and primary care frameworks.
* Experience with SystmOne
* Involvement in QOF and enhanced services or research projects.
