Your mission As a Full Stack developer you will design intelligent systems and develop computer vision capabilities to deploying real-time AI in the field, you’ll shape scalable software that powers the next generation of autonomous defence platforms. Responsibilities AI Development: Design, develop, and implement computer vision-aided sensor and effector systems, focusing on enhancing system autonomy and intelligence. Collaborate in the development of autonomous behaviours for integration into multi-domain systems, ensuring seamless operation across various platforms. Software Design & Implementation: Lead the architecture and development of scalable, robust AI software solutions, optimizing for performance and reliability. Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and integration with other system components and platforms. Research & Innovation: Conduct research to stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI technologies and methodologies, applying this knowledge to foster innovation within projects. Experiment with new technologies and techniques to continuously improve AI capabilities and system performance. Testing & Quality Assurance: Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to validate the performance, accuracy, and reliability of AI systems. Implement quality assurance practices to ensure software solutions meet the highest standards of quality and security. Field Work & Collaboration: Participate in deployable field work to test and optimise technology in real-world conditions. Collaborate with various functions, including mission operations, mission delivery, mechanical engineering, and production, to ensure cohesive project development and execution. Qualifications Strong educational background with a degree in AI development, computer science, or a related field. Proven experience in AI software development, with a focus on computer vision and autonomous systems. Expertise in full stack development, including proficiency in modern programming languages and frameworks. Experience deploying AI solutions within multi-domain environments is highly preferred. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in collaborative team settings. Strong communication skills to articulate complex concepts and solutions clearly.
