Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in using hand and power tools. As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various types of machinery and vehicles, ensuring they operate efficiently and safely.
Duties
* Conduct thorough inspections to identify mechanical issues and malfunctions.
* Perform repairs on engines, transmissions, brakes, and other essential components.
* Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to complete repairs and maintenance tasks.
* Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.
* Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
* Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
* Stay updated on the latest industry practices and technologies.
Requirements
* Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in a similar role.
* Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
* Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues accurately.
* Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
