Are you an organised and detail-oriented individual looking to join a dynamic construction team? I have an urgent requirement for a Document Controller on a contract or permanent basis for a fit-out contractor in Central London
As our Document Controller, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that information is organised, accurate, and readily available to the construction team.
Responsibilities
1. Create and maintain project files, including drawings, specifications, and contracts.
2. Ensure that all project documents are accurate, complete, and up-to-date.
3. Monitor and manage project correspondence, including emails and other communication.
4. Coordinate with project team members to ensure that documents are approved and distributed in a timely manner.
5. Identify potential issues with project documentation and provide timely solutions.
6. Ensure that documentation complies with company and industry standards.
7. Work closely with project managers and other team members to support project objectives.
Requirements
8. Strong experience in Procure is essential
9. 2/3 years of experience in document control in the construction industry.
10. Knowledge of software applications related to document control, such as Microsoft Office
11. Knowledge and understanding of workflows
12. Excellent attention to detail with strong organisational skills.
13. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
14. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
15. Familiarity with construction terminology and processes.
