SEO Manager – Hull / Hybrid
Are you looking to optimise your SEO career and take the next step in performance marketing? Summit has an exciting opportunity for an SEO Technical Manager to join us on a full-time hybrid basis in Hull.
We offer flexible start and finish times as well as every other Friday off. Summiteers are expected to attend the office in the C4DI complex in Hull, Fruit Market 2 days per week; the remaining days can be done from home. For the right candidate, greater flexibility around office time may be considered.
About the Role
As the SEO Tech Manager, you will create and lead clients’ technical SEO activity, develop and execute our strategy in line with client objectives, and track and report performance against targets and KPIs. You will be the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining a positive and collaborative working relationship. Your contributions include:
* Implementing technical SEO activities to meet client performance goals
* Staying up to date with industry trends and best practices, identifying applicable strategies for clients
* Analyzing issues and opportunities and providing and implementing recommendations
* Assisting the Senior Client Manager in developing relationships and maintaining client communication
* Collaborating with wider client teams, marketing technology and support teams across the business
* Working with content managers to ensure alignment of strategies for the client
About You
With strong technical SEO knowledge and a minimum of 1+ years’ experience managing technical SEO activity in a client or agency environment, you will manage and prioritise your workload with attention to detail and a results-focused mindset. You will be self-motivated, eager to learn and adapt, and able to work effectively with teams. You will bring:
* Strong communication skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and clients
* Experience analyzing performance issues and opportunities and implementing recommendations
* Advanced working knowledge of MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint)
* Experience tracking and reporting with analytics packages such as GA
* Confidence using core SEO tools (e.g., Semrush, SitebulB, Screaming Frog or equivalents)
* Ability to analyze problems, create insights, and generate long-term solutions
On offer is a competitive salary up to £31,000 per annum plus a range of benefits including flexible working hours, up to 29 days of holiday per year (plus bank holidays), milestone days off, Bupa health cash plan, life assurance and an Annual Bonus Scheme.
