Highland Health and Social Care Services help people from all walks of life, and provide help and assistance in situations arising due to illness, disability, old age or poverty. This bank post involves working with patients in their own homes in North, East and West Sutherland to provide holistic care.
Responsibilities
* Assist with enabling people to maintain their independence at home and support people after they have left hospital.
* Provide high standards of patient care in support of the multidisciplinary team to ensure delivery of a high-quality service to the local community.
* Be flexible and able to use your own initiative.
Qualifications and Requirements
* No prior experience required; full training and induction will be provided.
* Opportunity to complete a SVQ in Health & Social Care with potential for further career progression.
* Driving licence is essential and applicants should have access to their own vehicle for work purposes; travel expenses are available. Pool vehicles may be available in rural areas.
* These are bank posts working on an as-and-when basis with shifts: 07:00–11:00, 07:00–14:00, 08:00–12:00, 11:00–14:00, 17:00–22:00, or as per service requirements.
* Currently this role does not meet certain eligibility criteria for a CoS; NHS Highland cannot provide a Certificate of Sponsorship.
