Data & Analytics Engineer
Overview
Ocho is delighted to be working on behalf of our client to recruit a Data & Analytics Engineer to join a growing technology team focused on building a modern, scalable data platform.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys owning the full data lifecycle, from source system ingestion through to trusted, report-ready datasets that drive business decision-making. - Optimise platform performance through effective modelling, query tuning and infrastructure design
- Manage deployments across environments and support CI/CD and DataOps practices
- Configure security, governance and access controls to ensure data integrity and compliance
- Build trusted datasets that enable self-service analytics across Power BI and other reporting platforms
- Work closely with business stakeholders to translate business questions into measurable KPIs and actionable insights
- Maintain data dictionaries, lineage documentation and governance standards
- Support technical mentoring, code reviews and continuous improvement initiatives within the wider team
