Overview
The Faculty of Health and Life Sciences at the University of Liverpool is seeking a Postdoctoral Research Associate in clinical forensic psychology to work on an ESRC-funded project examining emotion processing and emotion regulation in people with convictions for sexual and violent offences. The project uses a multi-method approach, combining experimental psychology and psychophysiology.
Responsibilities
* Design experimental paradigms for the collection of behavioural and pupillometry data.
* Conduct eye-tracking data collection (EyeLink) and pupillometry analyses.
* Liaise with prison sites for recruitment and data collection.
* Perform complex data analyses.
Qualifications
* PhD (or near to completion) and an undergraduate degree in psychology or a relevant discipline.
* Experience in experimental design with EyeLink and/or eye-tracking and pupillometry.
Role details
* Full-time position for 36 months.
* If awaiting PhD, appointment at Grade 6; salary increases to Grade 7, spine point 31 upon written confirmation of PhD award.
* Hybrid working system, with an expectation to work more than 60% on campus.
