Job Description:
We are not just your average health company; we're aiming to revolutionize access to healthcare in the UK by offering innovative health and wellbeing solutions that are affordable, accessible, and effective. From preventive care to comprehensive medical support, we aim to empower individuals to take charge of their health, inspiring them to make the most of their wellbeing. Additionally, we are the first health insurer in the UK to be awarded B-Corp status in recognition of our significant achievements in sustainability, along with our ambitious environmental and social responsibility goals.
Our Events Team offers a diverse range of events, including dinners, gala balls, awards, hospitality, seminars, exhibitions, charity events, festivals, and week-long conferences. Traveling across the UK and Europe, our team manages the entire event lifecycle from conception to completion. Reporting to the Events Manager, this hands-on role involves meticulous planning, on-site logistics (including AV support), hosting, and participating in sporting events.
We are looking for a professional, outgoing, approachable, positive, organized, and physically able individual with excellent time management and attention to detail. The candidate should have a proven track record of managing multiple projects and believe that an event's success depends on a 'Whatever it takes' attitude.
Key responsibilities:
1. Support the development, implementation, and management of an extensive programme of events through creative project management, budget control, and ownership.
2. Create promotional collateral, website content, and videos to showcase events and hospitality offerings to internal and external clients.
3. Collaborate with key stakeholders across all business areas to ensure consistent campaign and communication delivery.
4. Host and manage events, liaising with staff, venues, speakers, and suppliers.
5. Manage event attendance, creating support materials to increase participation.
6. Ensure the safe delivery of event collateral and equipment, including setting up and dismantling stage sets and troubleshooting AV equipment.
7. Maintain relationships with external agencies such as venues, merchandise providers, entertainment companies, stand designers, and AV providers, ensuring clear communication of work requirements.
8. Research and source speakers, including clinical, motivational, keynote, celebrity, and professional speakers, to meet event objectives.
9. Create evaluation surveys to measure campaign success and provide regular reports to leadership.
10. Stay updated on regulatory changes and develop supporting events accordingly.
11. Line manage Event Executives.
