<div><h3>Ward Manager</h3><p>Department: Senior Management and Leadership</p><p>Employment Type: Fixed Term - Full Time</p><p>Location: Priory Hospital Barnt Green</p><p>Compensation: £47,375 - £53,329 / year</p><h3>Description</h3><p>Priory Hospital Barnt Green; 2 years fixed term contract | Full-time | 37.5 hours per week | Site based; £47,375 - £53,329 dependant on experience; Mental Health Nurse with 3 years post registration experience.; This role is not suitable for newly qualified nurses or preceptorship nurses.</p><p>You will be working on the Private Ward.</p><p>Priory Hospital Barnt Green offers acute mental health and psychiatric intensive care unit (PICU) services for 23 males and females.</p><p>It also has excellent transport links, including:</p><ul><li>A local bus and train station</li><li>A 10-minute drive to the M5 and M42 motorway</li></ul><h3>What youll be doing</h3><p>You will join the team on the Private unit working 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday. In this role, you will play a key part in patient recovery, supporting the assessment and delivery of tailored treatment plans while ensuring dignity, respect, and high standards of care.</p><p>This position is a leadership role at Priory and during the interview process we will be assessing candidates against our leadership behaviours. They are integral to driving a positive high performing culture where we strive to deliver the best care and outcomes for the people we support.</p><p>You can find additional information in the attached job description.</p><h3>What youll bring to the role</h3><p><b>Essential</b></p><ul><li>Hold current professional registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) along with Mental Health.</li><li>At least 2 years’ experience in a supervisory capacity within a relevant care setting. Appropriate registration or experience required for the ward.</li><li>Willingness to complete further clinical, managerial and leadership training and development relevant to your area of practice in management and leadership.</li><li>Experience of working in an environment that requires the ability to manage multiple priorities.</li></ul><p><b>Desirable</b></p><ul><li>Experience of clinical audit and/ or service improvement based on evidence.</li></ul><h3>What we will give you in return</h3><p>We want you to succeed at Priory and thrive in your role.
