SEN Teaching Assistant
Our agency is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to support a reputable Primary and Secondary SEN School in Rossendale. This is an excellent opportunity for an educator looking for a stable, full-time role with the potential to secure a permanent position.
Hours & Pay
* Monday to Friday
* 8:50am – 3:30pm
* £13.75 – £14.50 per hour
* Full-time, with temp-to-perm potential for the right candidate
The Role
We are looking for an individual who can:
* Provide high-quality support to pupils with a range of SEN, including ASC, SEMH and complex learning needs
* Work effectively with teachers and support staff to deliver tailored interventions
* Assist with classroom management and help adapt learning resources to suit individual needs
* Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils to encourage growth and confidence
* Promote a safe, supportive and inclusive learning environment
Candidate Requirements
* Previous experience supporting children or young people with SEN is highly desirable
* A calm, patient and resilient approach to behaviour and learning
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
* A genuine passion for supporting the progress and wellbeing of pupils
* Reliability, professionalism and a proactive attitude
