We are looking to recruit a Senior Civil Engineer to join our Central Rail Systems Alliance team delivering multi-million-pound Rail Core and Enhancement projects and programmes based either in the Eastern or Northwest & Central Regions.
Your purpose:
* You will use your experience as a Railway Civil Design Engineer to support and lead designs as Checker or CRE.
* You will be responsible for Price and Programme for your design scope.
* Working closely with Construction and Assurance, you will form strong relationships and use these to ensure smooth delivery of projects.
* You will support the development of junior members of the team.
* You will be responsible for producing high quality deliverables including, calculations, forms and drawings.
* You will use your multi-disciplinary experience to provide coordinated and constructable designs.
* Support tendering of new projects.
What you can bring:
* Experience leading multi-disciplinary design and experience of construction.
* Experience of ancillary civil engineering supporting track renewals.
* Multi-disciplinary design experience.
* Mentorship of junior team members.
* IEng / CEng (or working towards) with a relevant professional body.
* Working towards CRE (desirable).
* Project Engineer experience (desirable).
