Becoming a Care Pro with Home Instead is about being with our clients to enhance the quality of life for seniors and help keep them independent in their own home. Care means “quality care” and is personalised to the individual, based on personality similarities, shared experiences or interests. From companionship and home help to personal care, no two days are the same. You can help families know that their loved ones remain safe and well and cared for at home. We are looking for passionate professional carers or kind-hearted individuals new to the sector motivated by changing the face of ageing.
Responsibilities
Provide personalised in-home care and companionship to clients, supporting independence and safety. Build relationships with clients and families to ensure a consistent and positive care experience. Deliver a range of services from companionship, home help to personal care as required, in alignment with each client’s plan. Communicate clearly with clients, families and colleagues to uphold high standards of care.
Qualifications
Customer service experience may be advantageous but not essential. A successful candidate will be reliable, compassionate and respectful, with a genuine interest in supporting older adults. Driving licence and access to your own vehicle is advantageous as we take our clients out to the shops, appointments, theatre trips etc. This role is UK based and the right to work in the UK will need to be established as part of the recruitment process.
Remuneration and Benefits
* Rates of pay: Mon - Fri £14.00; Sat/Sun £15.60
* Unsociable Hours: Mon - Fri 8pm-10pm £15.00; Sat/Sun 8pm-10pm £16.60
* Paid travel time at the hourly rate (between visits)
* Paid travel expenses
* Double Time for Bank Holidays
