DWP Digital is looking for an IT Service Manager to join our Health Product Support team. What you’ll do
* Manage live services across a wide range of technologies, ensuring performance targets are met and services are continuously improved.
* Work closely with internal teams and external suppliers, including health assessment providers, to resolve incidents, reduce problems, and deliver a first-class user experience.
* Contribute to major incident resolution, translate technical issues into business impact, and support on-call duties on a rota basis.
What skills, knowledge and experience you’ll need
* Experience in IT service management, ideally using ITIL-based methodologies.
* Ability to manage live service issues and work under pressure to tight deadlines.
* Strong stakeholder engagement skills, including working with external suppliers and operational teams.
* Experience contributing to incident and problem management, service reporting, and SLA/OLA management.
* Ability to communicate technical issues in clear, business-focused language.
Location
You’ll join us in one of our digital hubs in Birmingham, Blackpool, Leeds, Manchester, Newcastle-Upon-Tyne or Sheffield.
Hybrid Working
Hybrid model – you’ll spend some time working at home and some time in a hub.
Pay and Benefits
* Pay: £38,772
* Pension: Civil service pension with employer contributions worth 28.97% (approx. £11,232 per year)
* Holidays: 24 days rising to 26 days after one year; up to 3 extra flexi days per month; public holidays included
