We're looking for experienced Production Operatives to work at Caterpillar’s world class manufacturing plant in the Springvale Business Park, Belfast. Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: * Assembling axles and transmissions. * Working from standard work instructions to produce components. * Performing routine functionality tests and analysing malfunctions and making repairs. * Assist in the calibration and repair of measuring equipment and input data into pre-developed databases for record collection analysis and reporting. * Compliance with safety and quality standards. * Compliance with 5S programme and other business improvement initiatives. * Any other appropriate duties. Required Qualifications: * Previous experience in a similar environment. * The ability to follow and comprehend verbal, specific and detailed procedures and work instructions. * The ability to perform basic arithmetic calculations in order to perform the duties of the position. * The ability to use hand tools, power tools, checking or testing equipment and to be able to read and interpret drawings - preferred. * Working at heights may be necessary. * Reasonable level of computer literacy where required.
