This is a great opportunity for a Housing Management Coordinator to join our team here in Redcar and Saltburn. As our Housing and Property expert, you’ll focus on tenancy support for our customers, ensuring their homes are safe and well maintained. Providing a housing management service, you’ll support them to manage and maintain their tenancy and rent accounts with the aim of helping them move on to a secure, long-term accommodation!

Job details
* Primarily Mon–Fri, 9–5, with flexibility to manage your own diary and with occasional work outside these hours when needed
* Use technology for support plans, benefit claims, and tenancy sign-ups,
* Vehicle insured for business use required - we pay your mileage
* You’ll need an Enhanced DBS check done and we pay for that.
We can't sponsor you due to certificate limits. We review this regularly.
Typical day as a Housing Management Coordinator
* Support customers to make their properties homes to be proud of, engaging them in their tenancies.
* Assist with housing benefit claims, ensuring payments reach rent accounts.
* Issue/sign warning letters and notices, attending court if required.
* Turn around void rooms/properties quickly to maximise occupancy.
* Ensure health & safety compliance and maintenance standards

You bring
* Experience managing a housing caseload, including landlord and tenancy duties.
* Knowledge of re-letting rooms, rent collection, and formal tenancy action.
* Ability to lead within the team, offering guidance and support to colleagues
* Confidence to work independently and engage people from all backgrounds.
* A proactive, organised, and positive “can-do” approach.
* Strong collaboration skills with colleagues and external partners
