The Vacancy
We have a current requirement for a Learning & Development (L&D) Trainer to join our L&D team based in our Glasgow office on a hybrid working basis. The L&D Trainer will collaborate with all WGM business streams to provide effective training, advice, guidance, and coaching on internal induction, soft skills, leadership development and IT systems. They will design, deliver, assess and evaluate all training interventions, ensuring they are up to date with current industry best practices and standards.

The L&D Trainer will collaborate with all WGM business streams to provide effective training, advice, guidance, and coaching on internal induction, soft skills, leadership development and IT systems. They will design, deliver, assess and evaluate all training interventions, ensuring they are up to date with current industry best practices and standards.
Main Duties And Responsibilities
* Identify training requirements across engineering business streams.
* Design and deliver training programs, including induction, systems, values, behaviours and internal development training via webinars and virtual classrooms.
* Deliver e-learning programs via the learning management system.
* Design and deliver leadership training.
* Ensure employee competency across various IT systems.
* Support new system implementations.
* Create and update training documentation.
* Maintain high standards in training records.
* Continuously review and improve training delivery methods.
* Liaise with training providers to maintain service levels.
* Produce accurate and timely management information.
* Manage relationships with partners and suppliers.
* Support the L&D Business Partner and HR team with projects and ad-hoc duties.
To be considered for this position you will have at least 2-3 years previous experience within a similar Learning and Development role. You will have previous experience of design, developing and delivery of various training implementations across business areas. You will have the ability to communicate at all levels. You will be innovative, creative, commercial and dynamic with high levels of enthusiasm to succeed in a fast-paced environment. Due to the nature of the role travel might be required to various offices across the group so a full UK driving license is essential for the role.
