Due to expansion in this department, we are now recruiting for an experienced Assistant to work in our Salisbury office.
It is essential that the ideal candidate has previous secretarial or administrative experience; experience in wills, probate, and estate planning would be desirable.
The candidate
The following experience is desirable:
* Excellent communication skills with clients and colleagues both over the telephone and by email;
* Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise urgent tasks when managing a large workload;
* Attention to detail to ensure all client information is accurately recorded; and
* Efficiency due to the large workload.
The role
The role involves supporting a Legal Executive and includes responsibilities such as:
* Dictation and typing of letters, documents, and emails;
* Supporting the fee earner with drafting documents, such as Lasting Powers of Attorney;
* Meeting and greeting clients and acting as a first point of contact;
* Handling client enquiries and telephone calls;
* Producing electronic payment forms, receipts, and slips;
* Scanning and digitally filing incoming post;
* Diarising to follow up on outstanding matters/clients; and
* Engrossing documents for signing.
Full-time and part-time hours will be considered.
