A great holiday package About the role Working within the depot reporting to the Operations Managers and Health & Safety Advisor. The Lead Warehouse Trainer will ensure that all training including working processes, manual handling, MHE training is delivered to the required standard and training records are maintained for all Colleagues. The Lead Warehouse Trainer is responsible for delivering professional training and development whilst supporting Managers, Warehouse Trainers and Colleagues in the daily performance of their duties. During peak times you may be required to work within the warehouse and carry out other tasks to support business needs. The role may involve occasional travel to deliver training to other areas of the business and for personal development, including training and meetings. Extra responsibility premium will be added on top of hourly wage whilst training You will be responsible for Induction Training: Overseeing the induction process and providing induction training to new colleagues on site. Practical Training: Conduct practical sessions to provide a high standard of technical training to support the warehouse operation including LLOPs, FLTs, Powered Pump Trucks (PPTs), and other MHE being used on site. Health & Safety: Ensure all colleagues and trainers are trained and adhere to onsite and machine health and safety regulations and guidelines. Proactive Approach: Support with the delivery of additional training and refresher training of colleagues as and when required. Support: Provide ongoing support throughout inductions and practical training using the correct assessments and evaluations. Collaboration: Work collaboratively with Senior Managers and trainers to ensure all onsite training requirements are covered across all shifts. You will need MHE Training Qualification or working towards one. Ability to use Excel, PowerPoint and Word documents. Good Presentation Skills to groups and individuals. Working knowledge of MHE and other relevant legislation. A good knowledge of Health and Safety legislation. A passionate and professional approach to health, safety and training, displaying credibility and presence within the warehouse. A good technical understanding of all MHE/Warehouse SOP's; counterbalance, reach truck, LLOP, PPT, Pump Truck and Battering changing processes etc. Warehouse operational knowledge and good understanding of operational requirements in busy periods. A good attention to detail an accuracy with an ability to work on your own initiative. Good communication at all levels and organisational skills.
