Description
We are currently looking for an Assistant Ticketing Services Manager to join our Visitor Experience and Ticketing team on a full time, fixed term contract until March 2027.

The Visitor Experience and Ticketing department is a large team responsible for delivering a safe and outstanding service, that aims to inspire and engage our visitors. We are committed to quality and are a proactive team ensuring that the site is presented at its best. We are a team who lead, learn and evolve working in close collaboration with many Southbank Centre departments and external partners.

The Ticketing team is led by the Senior Ticketing Services Manager; leading on system maintenance and event set up, and the Senior Ticketing Operations Manager; leading on ticketing duty management operations, Customer Relations and the Contact Centre. The Ticketing Services team is responsible for setting up and maintaining all ticketed events held at the Southbank Centre. We work closely with other teams across the organisation and external partners & stakeholders

The Assistant Ticketing Services Manager will join our busy department alongside 6 other Ticketing Services staff.

Key Responsibilities

* To deliver the highest possible quality of ticketing service and client management to the Southbank Centre internal departments, producing partners, commercial promoters and other hiring parties in a wide-range of ticketing set-up and maintenance procedures to streamline and maximise ticket sales.
* To support the Ticketing department in its Digital First strategy and liaise with relevant internal departments to keep documentation up to date to ensure a cohesive approach across the organisation.
* To support organisational policies to capitalise on the potential income of all events by providing expertise and advice for the implementation of sales initiatives and dynamic pricing.
* To support the Go Live process to ensure that the team are meeting deadlines for events and activities to go on sale within the agreed timetable.
* To support delivery of comprehensive reporting on all aspects of ticketing activity.

Skills & Experience

* A passion for providing an excellent experience for visitors.
* Demonstrable experience of venue ticketing operations and related systems.
* Expertise with Tessitura ticketing system or a similar ticketing system.
* Demonstrable experience working with event promoters, artistic partners and ticket agencies.
* Experience of working within dynamic team in a visitor-focused operation.
