Are you an experienced leader passionate about safeguarding adults and driving service improvement?
Nottinghamshire County Council is seeking a dynamic Head of Service to provide strategic leadership, management, and quality assurance for Adult Safeguarding and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS) across the county, with effective oversight of policy and practice and establishing a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
You will work closely with senior partners through the Nottinghamshire Safeguarding Adults Board (NSAB), ensuring delivery of high-quality outcomes for residents, carers, and the wider community and giving support to the independent chair of the Board.
Working with the Service Director, other Head of Service colleagues and partners you will ensure that services are meeting statutory duties and regulatory requirements and that our delivery and practice is of the highest quality, making decisions and solving problems in a fast paced and complex service environment.
You will also contribute to the transformation of wider adult social care services in line with the Council's strategic priorities and embed our Owning and Driving Performance programme across the department.
If you think you have the right skills, experience, and qualifications for the role alongside a high degree of personal drive and enthusiasm, then this could be the job for you.
For an informal discussion, please contact Ainsley Macdonnell, Service Director on 0115 9772147.
