Person Specification
Qualifications and further training
* First level registered nurse.
* Post‑graduate course in cardiology or similar.
Experience
* Experience in a cardiac catheter lab.
* Extensive experience within the field of cardiology.
Knowledge
* Specialist knowledge of procedures carried out in cardiac catheter labs.
* Understanding of audit and research‑based nursing practices.
Skills
* IV cannulation.
* Venepuncture.
* ILS competence.
* ECG interpretation.
Other requirements
* Teamwork within committees.
* Capability to conduct projects and follow through actions.
