About the Role
Are you detail-oriented, reliable, and have a keen eye for cleanliness? We are seeking a Part-Time Auditor (flexible but likely around 20 hours per week, including some early evenings) to assess and uphold cleaning standards across the facilities that we clean for our customers. This is a flexible role ideal for someone with experience in cleaning, facilities management, or health & safety compliance. The role will cover parts of Exeter and across East Devon.
Good interpersonal skills are a prerequisite for this role, which would suit an individual with aspirations for a future management role, or looking to step away from a fully accountable people management job.
As an Auditor, you'll play a key role in ensuring our clients' environments are consistently clean, hygienic, and compliant with our contractual obligations. You'll conduct site inspections, produce reports, and provide feedback to help our cleaning teams maintain the highest standards. There will also be an element of recruiting, inducting and training new cleaning staff.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct regular audits and inspections of cleaning standards across sites
* Assess cleanliness, hygiene, equipment use, and adherence to cleaning schedules
* Record findings accurately and produce clear reports and recommendations

* Monitor compliance with internal protocols and contractual terms
* Suggest improvements and support the implementation of best practices
Requirements
* Previous experience in cleaning or auditing is desirable but not essential
* High attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
* Good written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
* Basic IT skills (for reporting purposes)
