Geo-Environmental Engineer A growing multidisciplinary consultancy is seeking a motivated Geo-Environmental Engineer to join its expanding Ground Investigation team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career who is looking to build strong technical skills while contributing to a wide range of UK projects. About the Role You will support the delivery of ground investigation and geo-environmental services, including desk studies, fieldwork, monitoring, and factual reporting. The role offers hands-on exposure to both site and office-based work, with clear opportunities to develop your technical capabilities and progress within a supportive, people-focused environment. Key Responsibilities Completing Phase 1 desk studies, including site visits. Undertaking Phase 2 site investigations, supervising contractors, sampling, and logging exploratory holes. Conducting ground gas and groundwater monitoring. Assisting with the validation of remedial measures. Producing accurate factual reports. Liaising with clients to support project delivery. Requirements Degree in geology, geography, environmental science, geophysics, geochemistry, or a related discipline (higher degree advantageous). 1–2 years’ experience in desk studies and site investigations. Highly motivated with a proactive approach to learning and development. Able to work independently while coordinating effectively with line managers. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Excellent communication skills. Full UK driving licence
