About the Role
ChristchurchHospital is a busy, acute hospital with a large team of enthusiasticphysiotherapists. Regular professionaldevelopment opportunities are provided and supported.
These positions are a great opportunityto try something new, and are often an opportunity to step into something morepermanent.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
* Undertaking expert assessments, completing appropriateinterventions and providing advice or referring to other services.
* Helping supervise students and providingmentorship to junior colleagues as your experience level progresses.
* Working alongside a multi-disciplinary team.
About You
We are looking for Physiotherapists who can hit the ground running with a passion to deliver high quality standard of care to patients on the Christchurch Campus. You will be working across all inpatient areas as a member of the multidisciplinary team. You will need to be flexible and adaptable with enthusiasm for knowledge sharing across disciplines.
* Excellent communicationand interpersonal skills
* A broad range ofexperience across the tertiary care environment
* Competency with te ao Māori, tikanga, and te reoMāori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of yourlearning and growth
* The ability to work collaboratively andcontribute to the multidisciplinary team
* New Zealand Registered Physiotherapist with Current Annual Practicing Certificate is essential
