Role Overview:
As a Copywriter at Abbott Lyon, you will be responsible for creating engaging, brand-aligned copy that resonates with our target audience across various marketing channels. From our website to CRM communications, social media, and other marketing materials, your copy will help bring our brand to life and elevate our storytelling in a way that connects with our customers on a personal level. You will play a key role in shaping the voice of Abbott Lyon and supporting our marketing campaigns and strategies, while ensuring all content speaks to the core values of quality, innovation, value and personalisation that define our brand. We want to elevate with editorial-like content where customers are truly immersed in the Abbott Lyon world.
Key Responsibilities:
* Website Copy: Create compelling copy for product descriptions, landing pages, blog posts, and other online content that aligns with the Abbott Lyon brand voice and engages our customers.
* CRM & Email Marketing: Write persuasive and on-brand copy for email campaigns, newsletters, and personalised customer communication that drives engagement and conversions.
* Social Media Content: Develop creative and engaging copy for our social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.) that connects with our audience, promotes products, and supports brand storytelling.
* Brand Consistency: Ensure all written content across channels maintains consistency in tone, style, and messaging, aligning with Abbott Lyon’s brand identity.
* Customer-Centric Content: Understand our customer profile deeply and create copy that speaks to their values, desires, and emotions, while driving brand loyalty and sales.
* Collaborative Campaigns: Work closely with the marketing and product teams to develop copy that supports seasonal campaigns, product launches, and other key initiatives, keeping product USPs at the front and centre of the content.
* Innovation in Jewellery: Stay informed on the latest trends in jewellery and fashion, incorporating innovative ideas and product advancements into your copywriting to keep our messaging fresh and exciting.
* Performance-Driven Writing: Optimise copy for performance, ensuring that all content is designed to attract, engage, and convert, while also analysing the effectiveness of different copy strategies.
Skills & Experience:
* Proven experience as a marketing copywriter, ideally in fashion, jewellery, or lifestyle brands.
* Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.
* Strong understanding of digital marketing channels and copywriting for websites, email campaigns, and social media.
* A deep passion for personalised and meaningful jewellery, with the ability to translate product features into compelling stories that resonate with our audience.
* Knowledge of SEO best practices and experience writing for online platforms to increase search visibility.
* A creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box and bring fresh, innovative ideas to the table.
* Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams to ensure consistent messaging.
