Project Genesis – Business Analyst
Position: Taitara Mahi – Project Genesis – Business Analyst
Duration: 2 years fixed-term, full-time
We are seeking an experienced IT Business Analyst to support a major system upgrade – Project Genesis. This role offers an opportunity to develop change management skills while ensuring quality and timely delivery.
Hastings District Council is undertaking a project to migrate our core enterprise reporting platform (Finance, Spatial, Property & Rating) from on-premises to a Cloud platform.
Reporting to the Senior Digital Project Manager, you will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating business needs into actionable solutions to facilitate the transition to a Cloud-based system.
Your responsibilities will include:
1. Requirements gathering
2. Stakeholder communication
3. Process analysis and improvement
4. Documentation
5. Supporting technology development and testing
6. Risk and issue management
You will also have the chance to enhance your change management skills, supported by our Senior Digital Change Manager.
