We are looking for a confident Senior Support Worker with a passion for delivering outstanding care.
Youll be working 42 hours a week (12 hour shifts), making a positive difference to the lives of the people in our care at Cygnet Fountains
Cygnet Fountains is a high support inpatient rehabilitation (level 2) service for men who have severe and enduring mental illness and who may have been detained under the Mental Health Act. The individuals we support come to us following multiple placement breakdowns, failed treatment programmes or stepping down from secure settings.Your Day-to-Day • Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach to all individuals in our care• Provide guidance & encouragement through physical & emotional support• Learn about individuals specific needs & provide help in the most appropriate way• Assist with medical & welfare needs & report as required• Support management in the day-to-day running of the service• Undertake supervisory & administrative responsibilities• Safeguard• Maintain a safe and clean environment for all.You are • An experienced Support Worker ready to step up to a new challenge• Genuinely driven to make a difference in peoples lives• Confident, assertive & ambitious for yourself, service users & the organisation•An excellent communicator & good team player• Sensitive & intuitive with the energy required to provide a trusting, stimulating & varied environment• Able to empower & support service user independence• Organised, committed & keen to develop your management & leadership skills.
