The Role
You will take ownership of the day-to-day transactional finance function, overseeing both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable. This is a hands-on role where you will ensure processes run smoothly, support the wider finance team, and drive improvements in efficiency and controls. The role is open to a career move from practice or industry.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise the AP and AR functions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
* Oversee invoicing, collections, supplier payments, and reconciliations
* Support month-end processes related to transactional finance
* Review work completed by junior team members
* Identify and implement process improvements
* Assist with queries from internal stakeholders and external clients
* Ensure strong financial controls and adherence to procedures
About You
* AAT qualified (or close to completion)
* Experience within practice or industry
* Looking to take a first step into a supervisory position
* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
* Confident communicator with a proactive approach
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
