School Business Manager Location: Wigan Contract: Full-time, Monday to Friday Hours: 09:00 - 15:00 Pay: £153.00 - £210.00 per day Start Date: February Prospero Teaching is seeking an experienced School Business Manager to join a vibrant and developing Therapeutic Alternative Provision in Standish, Wigan. To be considered for this role, candidates must have strong financial experience, with previous work as a School Bursar or Finance Officer highly desirable. You will play a key role in developing and overseeing the provision's budget, as well as negotiating and managing local authority funding for student placements. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong financial and mathematical skills, along with experience in budgeting, HR processes, and the use of school IT systems, including SIMS. Experience working within private or alternative provisions would be a significant advantage. This is a temporary-to-permanent opportunity, with a permanent contract available for the right candidate following a successful placement.
