We are seeking 1:1 TA, you will be instrumental in providing tailored support to a specific student, helping them navigate their school day effectively and transition easily between SEND and mainstream schooling. Responsibilities: Adapting lesson materials, making them accessible to pupils. Providing one to one support during class. Reinforcing learning objectives set by the teacher. Assisting with literacy and numerical tasks breaking them down into more manageable steps. Understanding the individual needs of pupils to best support them in class. Helping pupils transition between the resource base and mainstream schooling. Requirements: Previous experience working with SEND children. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with the pupil, parents and colleagues effectively. Patience, empathy and resilience to meet the diverse needs of students. Relevant qualifications and training in supporting children with SEND. An understanding of relevant safe guarding and child protection procedures. Driving Licence
