The Flex model utilizes independent contractors to help fulfill "Ultrafast" customer deliveries including Amazon Grocery, Whole Foods, same day Amazon.com orders and beyond. Our Finance team works closely with Technology, Product, and Program Managers to track performance reporting and support analysis for optimization of labor planning, pricing, routing and expansion opportunities which help improve safety, customer quality and reduce costs.
With a rapidly expanding team and scope, we are looking for a Finance Manager who is a creative problem solver to support our growth while gaining excellent Operations Finance experience. This role will support Flex finance in EU, working closely with the EU Flex business team and cross-functional business leaders across the Last Mile organization. This role partners closely with a broad range of global finance and business leaders in Flex Operations, Flex Tech, Amazon Logistics (AMZL), and Global Specialty Fulfillment (GSF). You will work with business operators, technical product managers, legal teams and software developers while designing and developing performance measurements and quantifying impact to the business based on strategic input drivers to grow and continuously improve the economics of the business.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science)
- Experience applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses
- Experience in building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making
- Experience in creating process improvements with automation and analysis
- Experience participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- MBA, or CMA or CPA
- Experience with SQL or ETL
- Experience in identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan
- Experience in solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits)
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
- Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results
