This is a fixed term contract of 6 months. We are seeking an experienced AP Controller to join our finance team. The AP Controller will oversee and manage all aspects of the accounts payable process, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with company policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders Duties/Responsibilities Own the accounts payable function, including invoice processing, vendor payments, and expense reimbursements Review and approve vendor invoices for accuracy, completeness, and appropriate authorization Coordinate with purchasing and receiving departments to resolve any discrepancies or issues with invoices, purchase orders, or deliveries Reconcile accounts payable sub-ledger to the general ledger on a regular basis to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records Monitor accounts payable aging and manage outstanding balances to ensure timely payment and avoid late fees or penalties Respond to inquiries from vendors, employees, and other stakeholders regarding accounts payable transactions or payment status Stay informed about changes in accounting regulations or industry standards related to accounts payable and implement necessary updates or changes to processes and procedures Personal Specification AP Experience of a minimum of 5 years Proven experience in accounts payable management, preferably in a corporate setting SAP Experience Good understanding of the general ledger Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams High level of integrity and discretion when handling confidential information Experience with process improvement initiatives and implementing best practices preferred Rewards of working for Norton: We like to take care of our Nortoneers and we think we offer some pretty decent rewards.
