Senior Service Designer (Telco)
A global Telecommunications client is looking for a highly experienced Senior Service Designer to join their team and play a key role in shaping seamless, end-to-end customer experiences within the telecommunications space. This is an opportunity to work on complex, large-scale services spanning both fixed and mobile connectivity.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the design of end-to-end services across digital and operational touchpoints
* Translate complex technical and business requirements into intuitive, user-centred service experiences
* Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product, engineering, and network specialists
* Map customer journeys, identify pain points, and drive continuous service improvement
* Facilitate workshops and stakeholder sessions to align on service vision and outcomes
* Ensure service design aligns with business goals, technical constraints, and customer needs
Required Experience & Skills
* Proven experience working within a telecommunications (Telco) environment
* Strong background as a Senior Service Designer, with a portfolio demonstrating impactful service improvements
* Solid understanding of fixed connectivity services (e.g., broadband, fibre, leased lines)
* Strong knowledge of mobile networks, including hands-on experience or understanding of APN (Access Point Name) configurations
* Experience working with complex systems and integrating multiple service layers
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Desirable
* Experience working in large-scale or enterprise environments
* Familiarity with network infrastructure and telecom architecture
* Experience in agile delivery environments
Up to £500 per day outside IR35
