Recruitment Consultant for Accountancy & Finance (Transactional) at Iconic Resourcing
Payroll Officer
Glasgow | Full-Time | Competitive Salary
Our client is a fast-growing business across Scotland with continued expansion and a strong focus on service excellence. With that expansion, they are now looking to add an experienced Payroll Officer to join the team.
This role offers a unique opportunity to become a vital part of a collaborative finance team, where your input will help shape and streamline payroll operations as the business continues to grow.
What you’ll be doing:
* Manage and process payroll data, ensuring accuracy and compliance
* Co-ordinate with internal teams and outsourced payroll providers
* Handle payroll for both employees and self-employed clinicians
* Track pay rates, new starters, benefits, and deductions
* Resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to queries
* Prepare payroll reports for senior management and finance
* Support ongoing improvements in payroll systems and processes
What we’re looking for:
* Proven experience in a busy payroll environment
* Strong knowledge of payroll legislation and best practices
* Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy
* Confident working with confidential information
* Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude
* Comfortable working with outsourced providers and cross-functional teams
