North / Midlands Portfolio (Flexibly Based)
Salary: £60,000 – £65,000 per annum

Remit
Our client, a respected medium-sized care provider specialising in high-quality residential dementia and nursing care, is seeking an experienced Regional Manager to join the organisation. This is a position with responsibility for a portfolio of established elderly care homes within an established and growing provider.
The organisation operates with a streamlined senior structure, offering strong operational autonomy for its regional leaders. This role reports directly to the Managing Director and will work closely with existing regional managers to deliver excellent outcomes across operational, commercial and quality domains.
Key Points
* Visible leadership across all homes within the remit, with regular risk-assessed visits
* Responsibility for operational performance, occupancy, staffing, compliance and commercial outcomes
* Manage, support and mentor a team of Home Managers to drive high-quality, person-centred care
* Ensure homes achieve and maintain ‘Good’ to ‘Outstanding’ regulatory ratings, with a focus on continuous improvement
* Travel necessary across a remit of care home, with the flexibility to stay overnight when required/needed
* Clear autonomy to deliver strategic and operational priorities
* Opportunity to influence an expanding group with recent and future growth plans
Requirements
* Proven regional management experience within the elderly care sector
* Commercially astute with experience overseeing budgets, occupancy, and bottom-line performance
* Strong understanding of governance, risk management and regulatory frameworks (CQC)
* Track record of supporting Home Managers to deliver safe, compliant and person-centred services
* Evidence of stability and longevity in recent posts
* Nursing background beneficial but not essential
* Full driving licence and willingness to travel, including overnight stays
* Energy, drive and confidence to operate autonomously in a fast-moving environment
Candidates who are experienced, high-performing Home Managers looking to step into regional leadership may also be considered.
Location
The remit covers a wide geographical area, suitable candidate locations include: Crewe, Stoke-on-Trent, Manchester, Sheffield, Derby, Lincoln, Birmingham, Leicester, Nottingham etc.
The postholder can be flexibly based, ideally within reasonable reach of the portfolio.
Interview Process
Interviews are planned for late November to early December.
The anticipated structure is:
* Stage One – Initial conversation via Teams
* Stage Two – Face-to-face interview
* Stage Three (if required) – Final meeting
