Our client is seeking a skilled and reliable Night Chef to join the kitchen brigade of a luxury hotel in Ascot. This is a key role responsible for maintaining high culinary standards during overnight operations, ensuring guests receive exceptional dining experiences at all hours.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare, cook, and present high-quality dishes for room service and late-night dining
Oversee the kitchen during night shifts, working independently and efficiently
Ensure all food is prepared in line with the hotel's standards and specifications
Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and food safety standards (HACCP compliant)
Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering and inventory control
Support the wider kitchen team with prep for breakfast service
Ensure all health, safety, and hygiene regulations are strictly adhered to
Handle guest requests with professionalism and attention to detail
Requirements
Proven experience as a Chef (Chef de Partie or similar level preferred)
Ability to work independently and manage a kitchen during overnight hours
Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
MUST be able to drive
High attention to detail and commitment to quality
Flexible and reliable with a positive, can-do attitude
Formal culinary qualification is desirable but not essential
Working Hours
Night shifts, typically between 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM (flexibility required)
5 days out of 7, including weekends
