The Role Due to continued growth, an opportunity has arisen for an Internal Account Manager to join the Sales team. This is a balanced role combining customer service, internal sales and account development, supporting Regional and National Account Managers while building strong relationships with depot-level buyers and order placers. Youll spend time responding to inbound enquiries and quotations, while also working proactively with customers to identify opportunities, introduce new products and strengthen partnerships. What Youll Be Doing Acting as a key point of contact for customers, providing friendly, professional and responsive support Handling inbound enquiries and preparing accurate quotations across a wide product range Advising customers on suitable products, branding options and tailored solutions Working closely with Regional and National Account Managers to support account goals Building a good understanding of customer usage to spot opportunities for growth Following up quotations and enquiries to support conversion and customer satisfaction Proactively speaking with customers by phone to build rapport and resolve queries quickly Accurately recording activity, quotations and notes in the CRM system Collaborating with internal teams to ensure customers receive a seamless service Keeping product knowledge up to date, including safety and compliance requirements What Were Looking For Experience & Skills At least 2 years experience in an internal sales, sales support or customer-facing commercial role Confident communicator, comfortable speaking with customers by phone and email Well organised, with strong attention to detail Able to juggle multiple enquiries in a fast-moving environment Comfortable using CRM systems and Microsoft Office Personal Qualities Customer-focused with a proactive mindset Friendly, professional and solutions-oriented A team player who enjoys working collaboratively Adaptable and positive, even when things get busy How Success Is Measured Responding to customer enquiries promptly and professionally Producing accurate, timely quotations Following up opportunities to support conversion Maintaining well-kept CRM records Building positive relationships with customers and internal colleagues Contributing to the overall growth and retention of accounts Whats on Offer £40,000 basic salary Performance-related bonus scheme 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays (increasing with service) Hybrid working with 1 day per week from home Friday 4pm finish Wellbeing initiatives, recognition schemes and regular company events Supportive, people-first culture with genuine career progression
