Conveyancing Assistant - Residential Property

Our client is seeking an experienced Conveyancing Assistant to join their busy property team in Selby. The Key Responsibilities of the Conveyancing Assistant:
* Open new files and input instructions into the Case Management system.
* Produce relevant letters and legal documents.
* Update the Case Management system as matters progress.
* Issue contracts on sale files and assist with replies to enquiries.
* Order property searches and manage related documentation.
* Handle exchanges and completion paperwork.
* Issue mortgage reports to clients.
* Manage incoming post and telephone enquiries.
* Perform general administrative duties including filing, billing, photocopying, and archiving.
The Key Requirements of the Conveyancing Assistant:
* Minimum 12 months' experience in residential conveyancing (sales and purchase).
* Proficient IT skills and familiarity with case management systems.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* High attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
* Customer-focused approach with a professional and friendly manner.
* Flexible, adaptable, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
