Role Overview:
As a SEN Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality education to students with a range of special educational needs. You will design engaging lessons, adapt teaching strategies to individual needs, and work collaboratively with a supportive team of professionals.
Key Responsibilities of SEN Teacher:
* Plan and deliver personalised lessons that cater to the diverse needs of SEN students.
* Promote a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel supported and valued.
* Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback and adapting teaching methods accordingly.
* Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external professionals to ensure the best outcomes for students.
* Encourage curiosity, creativity, and a love for learning through engaging activities and lessons.
* Ensure the safety and well-being of all students in your care.
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
* Experience working with children with special educational needs.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* A passion for inclusive education and a commitment to student development.
* Ability to provide a ten-year career history with references covering the last two years, including your most recent academic role.
