Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in vehicle maintenance and repair, demonstrating expertise in diagnosing mechanical issues and performing necessary repairs. Duties
* Conduct routine maintenance checks on vehicles, including oil changes, brake inspections, and tyre rotations.
* Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults in vehicles.
* Replace worn or damaged parts, ensuring all repairs meet safety standards.
* Maintain accurate records of all services performed on vehicles.
* Collaborate with other mechanics and staff to ensure timely completion of repairs.
* Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in automotive technology.
* Adhere to health and safety regulations while working in the workshop.
Qualifications
* Proven experience as a Mechanic or in a similar role within the automotive industry.
* Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, and electrical systems.
* Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment effectively.
* Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
* Relevant qualifications or certifications in automotive repair are preferred but not mandatory.
* A valid driving licence is essential for this position.
* Owns own car.
