Schedule and Main Responsibilities
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Speech and Language Practitioner to work within Waltham Forest College, supporting our Foundation Learning SEND learners. You will provide support to students with speech, language, and communication needs (SLCN) by implementing targeted interventions and working collaboratively with the Speech and Language Therapist (SaLT) team to enhance access to learning and improve communication skills. The post holder will deliver a variety of support, including contributing to CPD days and contributing to inclusive practice across the College.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide support to students with SLCN by implementing targeted interventions and working collaboratively with the Speech and Language Therapist (SaLT) team to enhance access to learning and improve communication skills.
* Deliver a variety of support, including contributing to CPD days and contributing to inclusive practice across the College.
* Create resources, provide cover for colleagues, support enrolment and open events, carry out administrative tasks, contribute to and participate in Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) Annual Reviews.
