Job Summary
We are looking to recruit a Fabric Technician / Handyperson with a good knowledge of Facilities Maintenance. The ideal candidate needs to be reliable, able to complete work within required time frame and manage own deadline requirements. Have a calm manner and be able to work under pressure and against rapidly changing demands and priorities. Able to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, providing support to other areas of the business on occasions, as required. Ideally applicants will have a trade qualification (Carpentry/Plumbing/Painting & Decorating).
We have a great opportunity to join one of the largest FM companies in the UK covering a static historical site in Euston, Greater London. In this role you will join a team of engineers looking after the facility carrying out planned and reactive maintenance.
Responsibilities
* Plumbing
* Basic Electrics
* Basic Carpentry
* Lamp changing
* Take Tap Temperatures
* Flushing
* PPM's
* Reactive maintenance
* Plant Room Checks
* Assist other engineers onsite as required
* Replacement of floor tiles (carpet ceramic)
* Replace suspended ceiling tiles and clean ceiling grilles
* Painting & Decorating
* Tiling
* Client facing role
Requirements
* A can do attitude towards any given task
* Previous experience working as a Fabric Technician
* Ability to work in a fast paced environment
